This address has hosted a Friendica instance before, an earlier translated version of Writefreely, a version of GoToSocial and now it's back to Writefreely.

I really like WriteFreely and unfortunately GoToSocial doesn't really provide me yet what I am looking for with that software: a good alternative to Mastodon that doesn't blow up my server. I think it will get there though...

I also really liked Friendica but I think it's getting a bit old by now and I think I had some issues with it?

Either way it's very much worth it to run your own version of a long form federated blog platform, and WriteFreely does that pretty well. I'm just a bit sad that it doesn't incorporate more social options, I suspect it might in the future...
